One of our favourite weekend ventures is visiting the farmer's market on a Sunday morning. A basket full of fresh fruit & vegetables is simply brimming with healthy goodness. Increasing your consumption of fresh food has many health benefits, including higher energy and healthier skin & hair. It also helps with deceasing your risk of heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes.
So let's take a look at what specific foods are doing for you and your body:
- APPLES -
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is an ancient saying. Its true! Apple is one of the best available anti oxidants. It cleans teeth, destroys bacteria and helps with digestion.
- ASPARAGUS -
Asparagus is a dynamic liver tonic and the liver is the energy source of the body.

Carrots keep the lymph glands clean and healthy. They are an anti-inflammatory as well as an antiseptic. Juice them to get your immune system back on track!

Potatoes have been used since ancient times as medicine. This vegetable is very rich in vitamins, minerals and especially vitamin C. The potato skin is full of potassium
- TOMATOES -
Tomatoes help maintain strong bones as they contain a considerable amount of calcium and potassium.
